Requirements of the Regional Clinical Assessment (MDS) Coordinator:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with effective leadership & assessment skills in a long-term care setting
• Experience as an MDS Coordinator. Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years of experience as MDS supervisor/lead.
• Must have a working knowledge of the RAI process.
• Proficient in PA CMI
• Proficient in Medicare reimbursement, billing knowledge and experience.
• Knowledge of PPS (PDPM)
• Experienced in Insurance updates
• Must have knowledge of state and federal regulations
• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Prior regional experience required.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
