Requirements of the Regional Clinical Assessment (MDS) Coordinator:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with effective leadership & assessment skills in a long-term care setting
- Experience as an MDS Coordinator. Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years of experience as MDS supervisor/lead.
- Must have a working knowledge of the RAI process.
- Proficient in PA CMI
- Proficient in Medicare reimbursement, billing knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge of PPS (PDPM)
- Experienced in Insurance updates
- Must have knowledge of state and federal regulations
- Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Prior regional experience required.
- Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
