Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Regional Client Manager on the Employee Benefits team to support employer groups of 100 to 499 lives. You will guide enrollments, advise on plan changes, and work with Sales Representatives, Brokers, Producers and clients to optimize benefit programs.

You will manage submissions, renewals and amendments, promote new coverages, and participate in client meetings to foster long-term relationships. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive work experience in employee benefits, client management or sales support.
• Professional Life and Disability insurance license required for resident state within assigned hub; renew within 6 months.
• Travel required: percentage based on role, caseload and territory.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for Client Management issues for your assigned book of business.
• Manage new case submissions, renewal activity, and amendments.
• Identify and promote the sale of additional lines of coverage or plan improvements.
• Participate in in-person client and broker meetings.
• Promote new product offerings and enhanced product features.
• Recommend plan changes as appropriate.
• Facilitate enrollment and re-enrollment meetings and benefit fairs as needed.
• Highlight advantages of doing business with The Standard in coordination with Sales.
