Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices and ensure a consistently high-quality client experience across locations. The role requires hands-on leadership, coaching Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, and balancing strategic oversight with in-office presence.

You will own office readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day operations while driving revenue, client outcomes, and business performance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leadership of teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative client experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Ability to drive business and financial results across multiple locations.
• Experience managing change and adopting new processes.
• Independent judgment and prioritization across locations.
• Experience with facilities, staffing, or compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; handling escalations.
• Ability to translate data trends into action.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns, address gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance across offices.
• Oversee office readiness including facilities, equipment, and onboarding.
