H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a high-quality client experience across locations.

You will lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, coaching teams to anticipate client needs and deliver expert guidance with a welcoming atmosphere. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, focusing on staffing, operations, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail, service, or operations.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven leadership to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices with consistent standards.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to consistent performance.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve results and retention.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance across offices.
• Oversee facilities, equipment, recruiting, onboarding, and seasonal readiness.
