Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver based in East Chicago, IN. The role involves a route from East Chicago to the Midwest with an average of 65 hours per week and weekly home time.

Drivers earn $120k–$130k per year, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Compensation includes hourly wages (overtime and per diem) and hourly pay up to $35/hour. Health benefits begin after 30 days, with 401K, stock purchase, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Requires Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience; ability to operate tractor-trailer tanks.

Responsabilités

• Operates tractor trailer tanker units.
• Adheres to weights and proper utilization of units.
• Ensures proper loading/unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste; secures loads.
• Places proper placards according to DOT requirements.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.
