Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join our safety-conscious team in Lexington, SC. This route covers Lexington, SC to AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN, WV, and VA, averaging about 65 hours per week with weekly home time.

You will operate tractor-trailer tanker units, ensure loads are secured, and maintain DOT-compliant logs and reports. Compensation includes hourly wages with all on-duty time, a $7,500 sign-on bonus, comprehensive health benefits after 30 days, and a 401(k) plan

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to climb and work from heights.
• Ability to effectively use mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor trailer tanker units.
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units.
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste;
• Properly secures the loads.
• Placards vehicle following DOT requirements and regulations.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
