Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join our safety‑minded team in Baltimore, MD. The role involves operating tractor trailer tanker units, loading and unloading hazardous waste, and ensuring loads are secured per DOT rules.

Expect weekly home time and a robust benefits package. The advertised pay includes an hourly wage with on‑duty time. A $7,500 sign‑on bonus is offered along with health coverage, 401(k) matching, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Able to climb and work from heights and lift 50 lbs or more.
• Proficient using mobile apps and computer software for logs and dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor trailer tanker units.
• Adheres to weights and proper utilization of units.
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous/non-hazardous waste; secures loads.
• Places standard placards per DOT requirements.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports and inspection reports.
