Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join our safety-minded team in Richmond, CA. The route runs from Richmond, CA to A/OR/WA/NV and averages 60 hours per week.

Drivers earn a strong salary with a $7,500 sign-on bonus, home most evenings, and pay comprised of hourly wages. The posted pay range is 15.63 - 41.54 per hour, with support benefits after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with at least 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• At least 3 months of tanker experience.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to climb and work from heights; lift 50 lbs or more; use mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor trailer tanker units.
• Adheres to weights and proper unit utilization.
• Loads and unloads hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste safely.
• Secures loads and placards vehicle per DOT requirements.
• Maintains logs, time sheets, expense and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.

• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available
• Home most evenings
• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time)
• Pay Range: 15.63 - 41.54 Hourly

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer tanker units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste;
• Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to climb and work from heights
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
