Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Local/Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join our safety-focused team in Chattanooga, TN. This role features twice-a-week home time with the possibility to be domiciled out of Greenbrier, TN, and a pay rate around $27.00 per hour plus mileage pay, with weekly home time and 1800–2000 miles per week.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements.
• At least 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required or able to obtain.
• Comfortable using mobile apps and computer software while on route.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles safely.
• Loads/unloads and secures hazardous or non-hazardous waste loads.
• Maintains logs, time sheets, and trip reports daily.
• Adheres to DOT regulations and weight limits.
• Plates vehicle per company policy and DOT rules.
• Completes routine vehicle inspections and reports issues.

Clean Harbors is looking for aLocal/RegionalClass A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team inChattanooga, TN. to Greenbrier, TN .
Local/Regional hourly paid driver with twice a week home of closed by Chattanooga else every weekend home. Miles - 1800-2000 per week, hourly rate $27.00. Can also be domiciled out of Greenbrier, TN.

• Drivers average $80-$110K per year
• Weeklyhome time
• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
