Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Regional Truck Driver (OTR) in the Pottsville, PA area to join our private fleet. You will be responsible for safely operating a Class A tractor-trailer, planning routes, and ensuring on-time delivery while complying with all DOT and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Interstate (Class A) CDL with Hazmat endorsement (or ability to obtain with cleared background) within 120 days.
• Minimum of 30 months experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the last 3 years (36 months).
• No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
• No preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the last 10 years.
• No preventable accident resulting in fatality or catastrophic injury in driving history.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Walmart’s safety, integrity, and professionalism standards.
• Plan daily routes, set priorities, and coordinate with the team to keep freight moving safely and on time.
• Accurately handle required paperwork and electronic logs and follow DOT/state guidelines.
• Safely operate tractor-trailer and inspect it before, during, and after trips.
• Run optimized routes while adhering to traffic laws and local restrictions to improve on-time delivery.
