Job summary

Walmart is seeking Class A CDL drivers to join our private fleet. Earn competitive pay with predictable schedules and modern equipment. Regional drivers can earn up to $110,000 in their first year, with benefits starting day one, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) options.

Drivers are paid a fixed rate per mile plus activity pay, with ADP options. Local and regional routes offer mileage between $0.55 and $0.69 per mile, and an average miles range of 62,355–196,040.

Qualifications

• Interstate Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (or will obtain within 120 days) and cleared background.
• Minimum 30 months (2.5 years) of full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving in the last 3 years.
• No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
• Must live within 250 miles of the assigned facility or relocate within 250 miles within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Plan your day, set priorities, and keep freight moving safely and on time.
• Handle all required paperwork and electronic logs per DOT, state, and company guidelines.
• Safely operate tractor-trailer and inspect it before, during, and after each trip.
• Run optimized routes by following traffic laws and local restrictions to improve on-time delivery.
• Uphold Walmart's safety, integrity, and professionalism every mile of the way.
