Job summary
AMBSIMS & Associates Corp is seeking Class A CDL regional truck drivers to haul batteries on regional routes out of Yuma, AZ. This dry van role offers weekly home time and loads across the Southwest and Mountain West, with daily lift gate and pallet jack unloading required at stops.
You will operate a tractor-trailer on regional runs, ensure safety and DOT compliance, and adapt to schedules determined by seniority. Benefits and competitive pay are provided.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- No more than three moving violations in past three years
- No more than one DOT recordable accident in past three years
- Minimum 9 months tractor-trailer experience in past three years
- DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse profile before hire
- At least 22 years old
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A tractor-trailer on regional routes
- Haul batteries for a national dedicated customer
- Unload freight at each stop using lift gate and electric pallet jack
- Run routes throughout AZ, West TX, Southern California, Utah, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico
- Complete reports and records accurately, and follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures
- Maintain flexibility on departure days, as schedules and loads are assigned by seniority
