Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a full-time regional delivery driver in Minnesota to transport building materials by tractor-trailer to customers, distribution centers and job sites.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and efficient material handling in a hands-on environment. The ideal candidate will hold a valid CDL-A, have 2+ years of trucking experience including 1 year of flatbed work, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
• 2 years commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience acceptable).
• 1 year of flatbed experience.
• Willing to strap flatbed loads.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to plan and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material in route truck/multi-drop fashion to destinations per Federal regulations.
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and maneuvering in heavy traffic, weather, or tight docks.
• Maintain required records including driver logs, fuel purchases, mileage, and other regulatory records.
• Comply with company policies and all Federal, State, and local regulations for safe operation of CMV.
• Answer questions about packing lists, invoices, packaging, and materials; direct customers as needed.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections thoroughly.
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment.
• Report repairs or maintenance needs immediately.
• Ensure compliance with DOT guidelines.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
