Job summary

Fortify, part of Cornerstone Building Brands, seeks a full‑time Driver to transport building materials across Montana and nearby regions. You will use a tractor-trailer, perform pre/post trips, and uphold safety and customer service standards.

The role requires a Class A CDL, at least 2 years of flatbed experience, and ability to drive interstate. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• 2 years of tractor-trailer flatbed driving experience including winter driving experience.
• Must be able to drive interstate as business necessitates.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Must be insurable according to company insurance requirements.
• Strong customer service skills.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver building materials to customers, distribution centers, and job sites using a tractor-trailer.
• Perform material handling to load/unload by hand, forklift or overhead crane.
• Reconcile material requirements with shipping list and obtain customer signatures.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections and address deficiencies.
• Operate onboard recording system and comply with DOT regulations and traffic laws.
• Deliver products during the day using piggy-back trailer mounted forklift (training provided).
• Provide courteous, prompt, and professional customer service at all times.
• Stand, lift, bend and move heavy products (60+ pounds) frequently.
• May be exposed to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Inspect and clean the vehicle and maintain good appearance.
• Assist in inventory management including cycle counts.
• Perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks and work safely and efficiently.
• Provide customer-focused activities, deliverables, and services.
