Job summary

Fortify, now part of Cornerstone Building Brands, seeks a driver to transport and deliver building materials to customers, distribution centers, and job sites using a tractor-trailer. The role requires a Class A CDL, 2 years of flatbed driving (winter driving preferred), and a strong focus on safety and service.

You will load/unload materials, perform inspections, and maintain records while complying with DOT regulations and company policies. Local Belgrade, MT area; full-time, day shift.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• 2 years of tractor-trailer flatbed driving experience including winter driving.
• Must be able to drive interstate and pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver building materials to customers, distribution centers, and job sites using a tractor-trailer.
• Load/unload materials by hand, forklift, or overhead crane.
• Reconcile material requirements with shipping list and obtain customer signatures for receipt.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and address deficiencies.
• Operate onboard recording system and comply with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Deliver products during the day using piggy-back trailer mounted forklift (training available) at customer sites.
• Provide courteous, prompt, and professional customer service at all times.
• Lift and move heavy products (60+ pounds) and work in varying temperatures.
• Inspect and clean vehicle; assist in inventory management and housekeeping.
• Work safely and ensure customer-focused deliverables.
