Job summary

Bodycote plc is seeking a Regional Continuous Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence across manufacturing operations in the region. You will lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, coach leaders, and develop a kaizen roadmap with KPIs to achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements.

The role requires ITAR-compliance readiness, a relevant bachelor's degree, and 2–4 years Lean experience with strong leadership and coaching skills.

Qualifications

• ITAR compliance requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management or a related field.
• 2–4 years Lean experience or training; or equivalent.
• Six Sigma and/or Lean certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/Operational Excellence principles.
• Demonstrated lean management experience and results.
• Strong leadership, teaching, mentoring and coaching ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI projects including Kaizen events aligned with targets.
• Drive Lean transformation improving safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Coach managers and staff in Lean daily practices.
• Build and maintain a culture of continuous improvement across the site.
• Develop and monitor KPI-based Kaizen roadmaps and progress.
• Perform Gemba walks to identify improvement opportunities and sustain gains.
• Ensure consistent CI practices, templates and standard work.
• Travel regularly within the region to multiple sites.
