Job summary

Bodycote is seeking a Regional Continuous Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence across manufacturing sites in the region. You will lead Lean transformations, coach leaders, and implement standardized CI practices to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Responsibilities include leading Kaizen events, developing KPI roadmaps, and conducting Gemba walks to sustain a culture of continuous improvement. Travel to multiple sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Engineering, Business Management or a comparable field.
• 2–4 years Lean experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience with emphasis in Lean or operational excellence.
• Six Sigma and/or Lean experience or certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/Operational Excellence Principles, Problem Solving, 5 Why, Daily Management, 5S, SMED, TPM, Standard Work, Poke Yoke.
• Demonstrated lean management experience and results; ability to teach, mentor, and coach.
• Strong leadership and change agent skills; excellent team facilitation; proficient in Microsoft Office; read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, lead, facilitate, and manage CI projects including Kaizen events.
• Lead Lean transformation focusing on safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements.
• Train and coach managers and employees in Lean principles.
• Partner with function heads to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Coach site leaders to apply lean practices and achieve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, cost improvements.
• Audit and sustain CI health using scoring, gap analysis and problem solving.
• Develop kaizen roadmaps with KPI targets and lead projects to achieve goals.
• Conduct regular Gemba walks to identify opportunities and improvements.
• Travel regularly to multiple sites within the region.
