Job summary

The Regional Chief Engineer at Healthcare Linen Services Group leads engineering across multiple healthcare laundry plants, driving equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and cost control. This hands-on role moves between project execution, planning, and on-the-floor troubleshooting, ensuring uptime and throughput while mentoring next-generation engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on mechanical, electrical, and electrical troubleshooting capability.
• Experience with capital projects from specification to installation, commissioning and startup.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership and technical support across assigned facilities.
• Visit plants on a defined, recurring schedule to evaluate equipment condition, utilities, and maintenance practices.
• Identify root causes of recurring failures and develop long-term corrective solutions.
• Drive consistent CMMS usage and asset history across plants.
• Oversee capital projects, equipment replacements, and major installations across sites.
• Lead energy, water, and cost-reduction initiatives and benchmark performance.
