Job summary

Consor is seeking a seasoned construction engineering inspection leader to oversee regional CEI teams in Western Florida from pre-construction through project acceptance. You will ensure compliance with contract documents, budgets, and schedules, while driving QA, document controls, and stakeholder communications.

The role requires a BS in Construction Management or related field, a PE license, 10+ years of inspection experience, ability to read plans, and readiness to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum ten years of construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Obtain any required certifications and pass appropriate qualifications tests for the position in specified time frames.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Field job outdoors with exposure to weather and physical demands.
• Successful completion of pre-employment substance screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Guide regional CEI teams in execution of DOT and municipal projects (milling, resurfacing, drainage, earthwork, bridges, utilities).
• Lead communications between project stakeholders and ensure adherence to corporate procedures.
• Serve as project executive on multiple projects and provide guidance on project processes.
• Perform monthly CPM schedule review and approval.
• Coordinate with owner representatives and contractors to resolve contract challenges.
• Prepare documentation for final estimates and project close-out.
