Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a CEI Project Administrator/Project Engineer to join our Construction Inspection Team at a client site in Central Florida, Districts 1, 4, or 6.

You will direct inspection activities for major infrastructure projects and collaborate with top professionals to deliver critical transportation projects that power communities daily. The role offers a hybrid schedule with office and remote work days, and requires strong leadership to ensure construction activities align

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of engineering experience in relevant transportation projects, OR 8 years with HS diploma.
• Experience as Project Administrator, Assistant Project Administrator or Contract Support Specialist in relevant transportation projects required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to navigate active construction sites; strong written and oral communication.
• CTQP Final Estimates Level II, FDOT Advanced MOT, and/or CTQP Quality Control Manager credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain precise records of plans, documents, and submittals per FDOT guidelines.
• Coordinate between owners, contractors, and inspection staff to keep alignment.
• Review daily inspection reports and quantity computations for accuracy and compliance.
• Review and distribute contractor submittals to meet contract requirements.
• Track contract progress, maintain project tracking logs, prepare monthly progress estimates, and assemble final estimate package.
• Assign tasks to inspectors and support all phases of project execution.
