Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Regional Driver to keep our transportation network moving across the region. You will operate a tractor-trailer to safely pick up and deliver freight between company and customer locations, supporting drop‑and‑hook and live load/unload operations.

This role requires a safety‑minded professional with a valid Class A CDL and at least two years of over‑the‑road experience with refrigerated trailers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years of over-the-road tractor/trailer experience with refrigerated trailers preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL license.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer to safely pick up and deliver freight between locations.
• Adhere to DOT hours of service, logs, inspections, and load securement.
• Utilize electronic logging device and onboard tracking systems.
• Follow all federal, state, local laws and company policies.
• Complete paperwork: manifest, bills of lading, pay envelopes, trip reports.
• Travel to customers, distributors, plant facilities and remote locations as needed.
