Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a licensed driver for the PTA facility to transport hazardous waste and related materials regionally and locally. You will handle waste residuals, chemicals, and products, ensuring safe transport and adherence to DOT regulations.

The role includes moving equipment within the PTA site, performing routine maintenance on vehicles, and supporting team operations as needed. A valid Class A CDL and 40-hour HAZWOPER training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior commercial driving experience required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations for hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Transport hazardous waste, non-regulated waste, and various products regionally and locally for Veolia PTA.
• Ship site generated waste residuals to local and regional landfills.
• Transport hazardous liquids, solids and sludges in roll offs, vans and tankers to disposal or treatment facilities.
• Move boxes, tankers and vans within PTA facility and surrounding areas.
• Perform PMs including greasing and minor repairs of trucks and trailers.
• Other duties as assigned.
