Altom Transport is seeking dedicated Regional CDL A Tanker Drivers to safely transport liquid bulk materials nationwide. Expect extended on-road time (5+ days) with home time planned around operations.

This role emphasizes safety, compliance, and high service standards while offering opportunities to maximize earnings. Key requirements include a valid CDL A, hazmat endorsement preferred or obtainable within 90 days, and tanker experience.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred (within 90 days of hire; assistance available).
• TWIC Card preferred (or must obtain after hire).
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tanker driving experience.
• At least 23 years of age.
• Clean MVR and strong safety record.
• Able to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including 24/7 operations if needed.
• Rigorous onboarding and new hire safety training through Safety Department.
• Mandatory quarterly safety meetings throughout the fleet.
• HM 232 Compliance & Emergency Response Plan provided.
• Forward-facing cameras on all Altom and contractor equipment.
• Must hold a current X endorsement.
• Minimum 1-week in-person new hire training.
• Quarterly mandatory safety meetings with employees.
• Drug & Alcohol Policy and DOT Compliance program.

Responsabilités

• Long-haul driving across multiple regions to deliver bulk liquid materials.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to DOT regulations.
• Safely load and unload tanker trucks using hoses and pumps.
• Maintain accurate trip, inspection, and incident records.
• Coordinate deliveries with dispatch and customers to manage schedules.
• Comply with hazmat, DOT, and safety regulations.
• Maintain steady mileage and workload to support operations.
