Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is hiring a Regional Flex Driver CDL A Hazmat for Star, MS. You will safely deliver hazardous and bulk gases across multiple states, maintaining safety, reliability and customer service while meeting KPI targets.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements, 3+ years of tractor-trailer experience, and DOT compliance. Airgas offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• HS Diploma or GED, preferred
• Must possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license with tanker and hazmat endorsement for state of domicile
• Three (3) or more years’ prior experience as driver of tractor-trailer vehicles
• Haz-Mat or Tanker experience preferred
• Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases preferred
• Successful completion and passing of DOT written regulations and road tests
• Ability to work in close quarters with team partner for extended periods of time
• Computer skills or ability to improve competence

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer combinations long distances to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases safely and on time
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and address maintenance needs as required
• Operate equipment per company guidelines to maximize life cycle and minimize costs
• Maintain Airgas safety standards and report accidents or safety issues promptly
• Report DOT incidents, safety concerns, and regulatory violations to the supervisor
• Ensure accuracy of delivery tickets and customer signatures
