Job summary

WestAir Gases & Equipment is seeking a Bulk Driver to safely deliver industrial and specialty gas products to customers and storage sites. This on-site role involves long-haul routes within our service areas and requires strict safety adherence and accurate documentation.

The position is full-time with a schedule Mon-Fri, 4:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with overtime and occasional overnight or weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

Class A license with Hazmat endorsement is required.
2+ years' experience as a bulk driver.
Haz-Mat endorsements must be current and valid.
Knowledge of cryogenic, compressed, or specialty gases preferred.
Successful completion of DOT written regulations and road tests.
Computer skills or ability to improve competence.

Responsibilities

Promote and comply with Safety Policies and Operating Procedures.
Drive tractor-trailer to transport and off-load industrial gases to customers or storage sites.
Load micro bulk tanks and fill customer-owned tanks as assigned.
Report accidents, injuries, safety issues, and customer complaints to supervisor.
Comply with facility and corporate policies and procedures.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and address maintenance needs as needed.
Operate equipment per guidelines to maximize life cycle and minimize costs.
Complete and submit DOT and company reports as required.
Maintain a clean and professional personal and vehicle appearance.
