Job summary

Steel and Pipe Supply is seeking a CDL-A Flatbed Regional Truck Driver based in Manhattan or Gardner, KS to safely transport goods on a regional schedule. You will load, secure, and deliver cargo, perform pre/post trip inspections, and maintain daily logs and DOT compliance.

The role also offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus, potentially earning around $90,000 per year, and full benefits including medical, life, disability, and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• CDL-A with required endorsements and valid Medical Card.
• 2 yrs driving experience and 1 yr flatbed experience.
• Clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Check in and out with supervisor daily for work assignments.
• Safe operation of tractor/trailer.
• Secure cargo using straps, chains and other devices to prevent shifting.
• Complete shipping and delivery paperwork accurately and on time; comply with regulations.
• Report accidents, incidents, or safety violations promptly.
• Maintain communications with supervisor, sales and customers as required.
• Equipment maintenance; pre/post trip inspections; maintain daily records.
