Qualifications

• Must pass DOT drug and alcohol tests; comply with company policy.
• Valid medical certificate listed on MVR; meet driver requirements.
• Ability to operate tandem tractor-trailer equipment with 53 ft trailers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight safely and timely to customer appointments.
• Safely maneuver tractor-trailers at customer docks for loading/unloading.
• Complete required paperwork including bills of lading.
• Maintain cleanliness of company-owned equipment.
• Keep tractors and reefers fueled at all times.
• Communicate with dispatch; comply with safety concerns on the road.
• Follow DOT rules and company policy.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections per company requirements.
• Adhere to hours-of-service using ELD.
• Report mechanical problems via DVIR in the ELD.
• Route-plan trips to ensure on-time delivery or pickup.
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers and coworkers.
