Job summary

Ralph Moyle, Inc. is seeking an apprentice Regional Driver in Michigan. The role travels regionally between customer locations throughout the Midwest and Northeast, with bases at our Mattawan terminal and Paw Paw warehouse.

A current Class A CDL learning permit is required, and you must live within 60 minutes of the terminal. Attend apprenticeship classes daily and show steady progress learning to safely maneuver tractor-trailers, while maintaining equipment and following DoT rules.

Qualifications

• Must pass DOT drug and alcohol tests.
• Must meet driver requirements per company policy.
• Must have current and valid medical certificate as noted on MVR.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Attend apprenticeship class daily and on-time.
• Learn to safely maneuver tractor-trailer through range skills and on-road training.
• Follow all training requirements per contracts and training agreements.
• Maintain cleanliness of company-owned equipment.
• Use excellent communication with trainer and colleagues on the road.
• Understand and follow DOT rules and company policy.
• Learn and memorize proper pre- and post-trip inspections per state testing and company requirements.
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers and employees.
