American Driver is seeking CDL-A drivers for a Salt Lake City–based regional account offering solo, team, and owner operator positions with predictable pay and weekly home time.

Starting pay is $0.55 per mile plus productivity pay, with weekly earnings often between $1,300 and $1,800. New drivers may receive guaranteed pay during the initial training period, with a typical 1,900–2,200 miles per week expectation.

Qualifications

• Brand new CDL-A holders welcome; OTR training with guaranteed weekly pay.
• 120+ hours of CDL school required.
• 6 months OTR in the last year, or 12+ months in past 5 years.
• Minimum age 21; valid Class A CDL matching your residence.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years; no major accidents in 5 years.
• Hair and urine drug testing required; DD214 accepted for military experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate solo, team, or owner operator units in regional lanes.
• Aim for 1,900–2,200 miles per week on average.
• Maintain safety and comply with drug testing requirements.

A Salt Lake City based regional account is hiring solo, team, and owner operator drivers who want predictable pay and time at home every week.

What You’ll Earn

• Starting mileage rate of $0.55 per mile, plus DPP (productivity pay) on top.
• With DPP, weekly earnings range from $1,300 to $1,800 depending on productivity.
• Average drivers earn $1,300 to $1,500 per week.
• Top performers reach $1,800 per week.
• New drivers receive a pay guarantee for the first 3 months after going solo.
• Expect 1,900 to 2,200 miles per week on average.

The Freight

• Mix of drop and hook, live load/unload, and preload assignments.
• $15 stop pay and unload pay on top of mileage earnings.

Life on This Account

• Consistent weekly home time instead of unpredictable schedules.
• Covers I-5, I-15, I-84, and I-90 in a well established regional lane network.
• Solo, team, and owner operator setups all welcome.
• Freight holds steady through the year, though seasonal weather can occasionally affect run times.

Who We’re Looking For

• Brand new CDL-A holders are welcome. Paid OTR training runs 4 to 6 weeks with an experienced trainer, includes guaranteed weekly training pay of $800, and moves you to full solo pay once you finish.
• 120+ hours of CDL school required for all applicants.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months of OTR experience in the last year, or 12+ months over the past 5 years.
• Minimum age 21, valid Class A CDL matching your state of residence.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years and no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
• Hair and urine drug testing required; DD214 accepted for military experience.
