Job summary

Wooster Motor Ways, Inc. is hiring a dependable Company Driver to haul freight across regional lanes. Daily local and regional runs with a pay structure that rewards safe, experienced drivers. Earnings include $1500-$1800 per week, with a $1350 weekly minimum and additional pay for detention or breakdowns.

Our fleet operates International LT trucks equipped with comfort features; you will manage pre-trip/post-trip inspections, cargo securement, and DOT compliance across routes.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with 1 year of experience.
• HazMat endorsement preferred, not required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• TWIC card preferred, not required.
• Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight and specialized cargo.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects promptly.
• Load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight.
• Maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation.
• Verify bills of lading, collect signatures and receipts, and ensure paperwork is complete.
• Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep trailer clean and ready.
