Job summary

American Driver is seeking CDL-A truck drivers for a dedicated regional account servicing a major beverage brand. Expect steady loads and a planning team built around this account, with home time biweekly and day/night shifts available.

Pay starts with training and progresses with experience; driver performance programs and a guaranteed 3-month solo dispatch period are included. Benefits start after 30 days, with health, dental and vision coverage, 401k with match, and orientation pay.

Qualifications

• New CDL-A holders welcome; training pay starts at $0.50 per mile on a 6-month pay progression.
• Must have completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL training school.
• Experienced drivers need 6 months OTR experience in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL in your state of residence.
• Clean driving record: no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years and no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing; military experience considered with a valid DD214.

Job description

This dedicated regional account keeps freight moving for a major consumer beverage brand, with steady loads and a planning team built around this account.

Pay Breakdown

• New Drivers: After training, expect $1,000 to $1,500 per week while building experience.
• Experienced Drivers: Earn $1,500 to $2,200 per week depending on your experience pay tier and productivity.
• Solo Dispatch Guarantee: Pay guarantee is provided for your first 3 months after your first solo dispatch.
• Performance Bonus: Eligible for Driver Performance Pay (DPP) and a driver performance bonus program.

Schedule & Home Time

• Home every two weeks for 2 full days
• Both day and night shifts available.
• Weekend and occasional holiday work required.

Freight & Equipment

• No touch freight: live load and live unload facilities handle the freight, plus drop and hook and preload assignments.
• $15 stop pay on every stop.
• Weekly mileage typically runs 1,500 to 2,500 miles.
