Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Operational Trainer to deliver induction and ongoing development training across several homes in the region. The role involves travel between locations, supporting staff to work in a person-centred, compassionate manner, and ensuring adherence to Barchester standards.

The position is home-based with travel to Wokingham, Reading and Bracknell areas, requiring a full UK driving licence and the ability to cover a regional region.

Qualifications

• C&G 7300 or equivalent qualification.
• Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care or experience in social care sector.
• Working knowledge of legislative requirements in care sector.
• 2 years training experience.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver induction and development training across multiple homes.
• Provide practical, hands-on training across a variety of subjects.
• Plan and publish training calendars.
• Maintain up-to-date employee training files.
• Observe workplace practice and provide coaching to new staff.
• Attend meetings and conferences external to the home when required.
• Promote learning and development opportunities offered by Barchester.
