Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a Multi-Site Camp Director for Steve & Kate’s Camp in the Denver-Boulder area. You’ll lead seasonal leadership teams, recruit and develop staff, and nurture relationships with families and community partners to deliver safe, engaging camp experiences across multiple locations.

This in-person leadership role blends people leadership with operations, budgeting, and program delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of supervisory, camp, education, or childcare experience required.
• Previous experience leading and developing teams; multi-site leadership preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing operations, budgets, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel throughout an assigned region and work on-site during camp operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support seasonal camp leadership teams across multiple locations while creating safe, engaging, and inclusive experiences for campers, families, and staff.
• Recruit, hire, train, and coach seasonal employees, helping build strong teams and a positive camp culture.
• Build relationships with families, schools, and community organizations while promoting camp programs and growing enrollment.
• Oversee camp operations, including staffing, compliance, budgeting, logistics, and vendor partnerships, to help programs run smoothly.
• Provide leadership and support during day-to-day operations, responding to challenges, resolving concerns, and ensuring exceptional experiences for campers and families.
