Job summary

Weee! Inc in Landover, MD is hiring a Regional Buyer I to source, plan, and replenish the regional assortment, driving sales, margin, and customer satisfaction. You will blend market intuition with data analytics to deliver a compelling regional lineup and own on‑the‑ground execution.

Collaborate across functions such as warehousing, operations, marketing, and central merchandising to optimize inventory, negotiate with vendors, and present KPIs to leadership.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in grocery/perishables buying, category management, or sourcing (wholesale or retail)
• Knowledge of product quality standards and supply chain dynamics.
• Hands-on experience with vendor negotiation and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and assortment: Source seasonal and year-round products locally using customer data and trends to differentiate the assortment.
• Planning and inventory: Define PO strategies and plan orders based on history, forecasts, and constraints to prevent stockouts/overstock.
• Quality and cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Warehouse, Customer Service, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
• Performance and reporting: Track weekly revenue, margin, and KPIs; prepare reports for senior leadership.
