Job summary

Weee! Inc. is seeking a Regional Buyer I to source, plan, and replenish the regional assortment, driving sales, margin, and customer satisfaction. You’ll blend market intuition with data analytics, owning on-the-ground execution in the Landover, MD region.

You will build strong vendor partnerships, define PO strategies, plan replenishments, and collaborate with multiple teams to resolve issues and drive improvements. This role offers growth into the Regional Merchandising Manager’s right hand.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in grocery/perishables buying, including vendor negotiation.
• Knowledge of product quality standards and supply chain dynamics.
• Hands-on experience with vendor negotiation and inventory management.
• Strong Excel and procurement-tool skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and assortment: Source seasonal and year-round products locally and build vendor partnerships.
• Planning and inventory: Define PO strategies and plan orders with forecasts to prevent stockouts/overstock.
• Quality and cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate with Warehouse, Customer Service, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Performance and reporting: Track KPIs and present reports to senior leadership with insights.
