Job summary

CareCore Health seeks an experienced Regional Business Office Manager to oversee business office operations across 13 skilled nursing facilities in Ohio. The role manages AR, Medicaid Pendings, and resident income collections, providing training and accountability for BOMs while driving performance and compliance.

Travel between facilities is required. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, plus extensive knowledge of Medicaid, PCC, and billing

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of BOM experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Regional or multi-facility oversight experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Ohio Medicaid and PCC.
• Experience with Medicaid Pendings, accounts receivable, aging, and private-pay collections.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and third-party billing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BOMs across 13 SNFs.
• Manage AR, aging reports, Medicaid Pendings, and collections.
• Ensure timely billing, collections, and follow-up on balances.
• Provide training and guidance to BOMs.
• Set expectations and monitor performance against financial goals.
• Identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Review aging and performance trends for improvement opportunities.
• Oversee Medicaid Pending applications and redeterminations.
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements.
• Conduct audits for accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with Administrators and leadership to address concerns.
• Drive process improvements and workflow efficiency.
• Manage priorities across facilities with timely issue resolution.
