Description

Company Details: Spectrum Plastics Group, a DuPont Business (SPG), is a global supplier of design & development services, engineered medical components, and value-added assemblies for the medical device and contract manufacturing industries. With 18 manufacturing sites worldwide, SPG provides solutions such as precision extruded plastics, injection molded components, balloons, laser ablation, medical packaging, and complex catheter assemblies, primarily serving the medical device and life science markets.

Scope of the Role

The Regional Business Manager is responsible for driving business growth across Spectrum Medical Device divisions within a designated territory or customer accounts. This involves identifying new opportunities, managing existing accounts, and expanding market share in the MedTech sector. The ideal candidate will be based in Europe, preferably Ireland, with a blend of strategic and hands-on skills, focusing on building long-term customer relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline within the territory.
  • Visit customers regularly to present offerings and develop new opportunities.
  • Implement strategic account management to maintain and grow relationships with key accounts.
  • Drive territory expansion through targeted strategies.
  • Grow business with existing and new accounts.
  • Build and nurture strong customer relationships.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the market.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals profitably.
  • Forecast sales targets and work to meet or exceed them.
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights for strategic planning.
  • Report on sales activities and pipeline status.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust tactics accordingly.
  • Participate in industry training and development programs.
  • Work remotely if necessary.
Qualifications
  • 5-12 years of sales experience in MedTech or similar fields, with knowledge of ISO-13485 and FDA/EU Class II/III regulations preferred.
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software, experience with Salesforce preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and adaptability.
  • Effective team player capable of working cross-functionally.
Working Conditions
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision. Includes periods of sitting, standing, walking on manufacturing floors, and attending meetings.
