Regional Business Development Manager - South Carolina

Old Mission Wound Care, a leading nationwide mobile advanced wound care medical practice, is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Regional Business Development Manager (RBDM) to drive growth and expand our Rebirth Healing market presence in South Carolina. As an RBDM at Old Mission Wound Care, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships and initiatives within your assigned multi-state region, with a focus on South Carolina. You will identify and cultivate relationships with key healthcare providers and organizations to enhance our reach and achieve strategic business objectives. This role demands a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, excellent business development and relationship management skills, a strategic mindset, and a commitment to ethical and collaborative practices.

Old Mission Wound Care is dedicated to transforming the chronic wound care model by providing expert mobile surgical wound care services directly to patients in skilled nursing facilities and other long-term care settings. We partner with home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, long term care facilities, assisted living facilities, and hospitals/wound care centers to deliver advanced wound care solutions, focusing on healing patients and supporting our referral partners. Our mission centers on healing people through evidence-based treatments and innovative services. We value collaboration, quality, trustworthiness, continuous improvement, and a drive to win.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and prioritize potential strategic partners, including hospitals, physician groups, skilled nursing facilities, and home health agencies, within the South Carolina region.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to establish, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at partner organizations.
  • Lead negotiations and finalize agreements with strategic partners to ensure mutually beneficial arrangements and alignment with OMWC's objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Clinical Operations, Finance, and Legal, to ensure partnership agreements are operationally feasible and financially sound.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the performance of strategic partnerships, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify new market opportunities and develop strategic plans for market penetration and growth.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop and execute targeted campaigns.
  • Evaluate the feasibility and profitability of new business ventures and prepare recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Maintain open communication and collaborate effectively with the Regional Sales Manager and Regional Clinical Manager in the state-based team.
  • Provide regular updates on business development progress to the Chief Growth Officer and executive team.
  • Represent OMWC at industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to partnerships, revenue, and market expansion.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on business development performance to leadership.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage and track activities.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines, including compliance with healthcare laws and regulations (Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA).
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of company and partner information.
  • Represent the Company in a professional and positive manner.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory updates.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure alignment and successful execution of initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and managing strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of business development experience specifically within the home health agency sector is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Residency in South Carolina is required.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory.

Compensation

The base salary for this role is $100,000 per year. In addition, the role is eligible for performance-based incentives and bonuses based on: Growth, Strategic Partnership Acquisition and Retention, New Market Expansion, Strategic Milestone Achievement, Loyalty and Teamwork. Total estimated annual RBDM earning is $246,630. Because success is rewarded, this position has no compensation cap.
