The Regional Director, Business Development will establish and sustain a trusted regional presence in Acadiana, turning market insights into qualified opportunities for the Gayle Benson Team of Businesses. This senior IC builds relationships with regional decision-makers and coordinates with Saints, Pelicans, Benson Capital, Corporate Realty, and related entities to drive revenue and strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Established Acadiana regional network with trusted decision-makers.
• 10+ years in economic development, executive business development, or related field.
• Strong financial literacy and ability to assess commercial potential across industries.
• Active listening, insightful questioning, and ability to broker productive conversations.
• Proactive, independent approach to developing opportunities and managing priorities.
• Ability to work effectively with executives and cross-functional teams.
• Judgment to handle sensitive information and conflicts professionally.
• Willingness to learn the priorities of each business; prior sports experience not required.
