Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Builder Area Sales Manager for EZ Sheath to drive builder adoption and revenue growth across the Upper Midwest. You will develop relationships with residential builders, distributors, and dealers while executing regional sales strategies and product training.

In this market-facing role, you will leverage building science knowledge and CRM data to identify opportunities, manage pipelines, and achieve go-to-market goals with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of customer-facing sales or related roles.
• Proven experience selling to residential builders and driving pull-through demand.
• Experience in building materials channels including distributors and dealers.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel 2–3 overnights weekly.

Responsibilities

• Drive builder adoption and revenue growth for EZ Sheath.
• Develop and maintain relationships with builders, contractors, distributors, dealers, and other stakeholders.
• Create pull-through demand by educating customers on product benefits and value propositions.
• Execute the EZ Sheath go-to-market strategy across the region and identify growth opportunities.
• Work through two-step distribution, local lumber dealers, and specialty distributors to ensure product availability.
• Leverage knowledge of residential construction methods and building science to engage customers.
• Support builder pilot programs and convert trial opportunities into adoption.
• Position EZ Sheath against competitors by communicating differentiated value.
• Deliver regional sales targets, growth objectives, and profitability through disciplined account management.
• Partner with Marketing, Technical Services, Building Science, and Distribution teams to align solutions.
• Serve as a trusted resource to distribution partners, providing product expertise and training.
• Utilize CRM tools and market data to identify opportunities and manage pipelines.
• Continuously evaluate market conditions and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
