Job summary

Colonial Life seeks a Regional Broker Manager to drive broker-influenced sales across assigned territories. You will partner with local leadership and the Colonial Life distribution channel to grow new client acquisitions in commercial and public sectors.

Responsibilities include engaging brokers, documenting engagements in CRM, and executing business plans with Territory Sales Managers to meet regional goals. Travel 50–75% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Licensed to solicit insurance or ability to obtain license within 45 days in territory.
• 5+ years of broker sales/marketing experience, preferably worksite/voluntary benefits.
• Strong communication, presentation and persuasion skills.
• Travel 50% to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Increase profitable sales and new client base through insurance brokers in public sector and commercial markets.
• Collaborate with territory sales managers and colonial life agents to target broker relationships.
• Document broker engagements weekly in CRM and manage pipeline for brokers.
• Act as strategic partner in presentations for prospective and existing customers.
• Develop and execute business plans with Territory Sales Managers to drive regional growth.
• Train and develop sales hierarchy in brokerage market and value proposition.
• Ensure distribution alignment between field organization and national broker partners.
• Engage brokers on Colonial Life’s value proposition and participate in events.
