STV currently has an opening for a Structural Engineer /Bridge Inspection Team Leader in our Transportation Division of our Massachusetts office.

This position offers great career opportunities for a structural engineer with bridge inspector experience to be involved with bridge and culvert projects in all stages. This role will lead a team to inspect, identify maintenance needs, prepare reports and load ratings, develop repair and rehabilitation strategies, and collaborate with owners and contractors to preserve or replace structures. It is an excellent opportunity to become a subject matter expert within our growing inspection team and assume more leadership responsibilities. The role combines office and field work.
The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of bridge inspection and engineering industry practices, with strong problem-solving skills in design, analysis, and inspection challenges. Responsibilities include producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, leading inspection teams, and preparing engineering plans and specifications for projects. The team leader will coordinate inspections with equipment suppliers and agencies, ensuring high-quality project delivery for various bridge and culvert projects, including replacements, rehabilitations, and preservation efforts.

Compensation Range
$109,771.86 - $146,362.48
