Job summary

Top Tempo Technical is seeking a hands-on Regional Field Service Manager to lead a team of biomedical technicians in the San Antonio area. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on biomedical equipment, while guiding technicians in the field.

This working manager role requires travel to hospitals and clinics, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to mentor staff. Stay hands-on while ensuring uptime and patient care across the region.

Qualifications

Experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) or field service technician in healthcare.
Ability to lead or mentor technicians in the field and work side-by-side in hands-on roles.
Strong knowledge of medical equipment maintenance, safety standards, and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on biomedical equipment.
Travel extensively to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities within the region.
Lead technicians as a player/coach while working in the field.
Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and drive quick resolutions.
Ensure service quality, compliance, and timely turnaround to meet customer expectations.
Provide hands-on training and mentorship to technicians.
Build strong relationships with clinical staff and healthcare partners.
