Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Manager of Bench Technical Services in Georgia to lead a ~15-person team of BMETs and biomedical technicians. You will oversee repair, PM, calibration, testing, and upgrades of medical devices, while partnering with the Director of Technical Services on strategy and quality initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in medical devices with supervisory experience, a biomedical/EE degree preferred, and strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive technical experience in the medical device/biomedical field.
• Several years of supervisory/management experience leading technical personnel.
• Experience supervising field service technicians is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering preferred; hands-on experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Biomedical/Technical Services department, ensuring productivity and quality.
• Directly supervise, coach, and develop a team of ~15 BMETs/medical device technicians.
• Oversee repair, preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, and upgrades of medical devices and equipment.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues and mentor technicians.
• Develop and coordinate technical training programs and ensure audit-ready documentation.
