Job summary

LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. is seeking an Area Service Manager to lead multi-site service operations across the Central California area.

You will own regional KPIs, oversee technicians and site leads, and ensure safety, reliability, and high-quality service delivery for BESS assets. The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to optimize resources, manage escalations, and drive continuous improvement across all sites while aligning with contract

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing multi-site or regional service operations in BESS or renewable energy.
• Strong leadership and experience managing distributed technical teams.
• Experience delivering operational KPIs (availability, safety, reliability).

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver area-level service KPIs including availability, PM compliance, response time, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Monitor performance across sites and proactively identify risks and underperformance.
• Develop and drive recovery plans and escalation for underperforming sites.
• Lead site-based teams and optimize labor allocation across sites.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Warranty, Commercial, and Project Management to resolve issues.
• Manage vendor performance and service delivery with escalation when needed.
• Provide primary accountability for regional service performance and customer satisfaction.
