Job summary

Univest Bank in the Philadelphia area seeks an Area Manager to lead and support Financial Centers across markets including Philadelphia, Bucks County, West Chester PA, and Ocean City NJ.

You will develop high-performing teams, drive deposits, loans, and service growth, and collaborate with Commercial Banking, Wealth, Mortgage, Treasury Management, and Small Business teams to deliver enterprise growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of Consumer Banking experience required.
• 5+ years of leadership experience required; multi-site management preferred.
• Demonstrated experience developing and coaching high-performing teams.
• Strong business development, sales leadership, and relationship management skills.
• Working knowledge of branch banking operations, banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Working knowledge of Consumer and Commercial banking products, services, lending solutions, and relationship strategies.
• Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across business lines and enterprise partners.
• Strong commitment to customer service excellence and community engagement.
• Ability to prioritize, adapt, and successfully manage multiple initiatives while achieving goals.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build community relationships and identify opportunities to grow market share.
• Ability to analyze performance dashboards and KPI reporting to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate organizational change.

Responsibilities

• 70% Sales & Service Development with strategies to grow team performance.
• Coaches Center Managers in market growth and deposit/loan goals.
• Partner with Commercial Banking, Wealth, Mortgage, Treasury Management and Small Business teams.
• Achieve stated corporate sales goals and service expectations.
• 20% Management Issues/Operations including policy changes and staff decisions.
• 10% Leadership Team Meetings with monthly planning and reviews.
• Contributes to a culture of teamwork and community engagement.
• Compliance with laws and Univest Code of Conduct.
