Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services, Inc. seeks a Regional Safety/Security Manager to oversee regional safety and security programs and liaise with TSA, FAA, CBP, and OSHA authorities.

The role focuses on coaching locations, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements in cargo and passenger handling within a large aviation network. The ideal candidate will have at least two years in airline/cargo safety or security, strong reporting skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams across

Qualifications

• Two years' or equivalent experience in airline/cargo safety or security operations.
• Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g., CCTV).
• Experience in reporting and emergency response planning.
• Excellent knowledge of safety and security protocols and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to work effectively with individuals, cultures, and backgrounds in a global environment.
• Working knowledge of aviation safety regulations (TSA, CBP, OSHA, FAA).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with station management teams regarding emergent safety and security concerns.
• Document and submit regional reports to Directors of Safety, Security.
• Meet customer/airline/airport representatives for safety/security matters.
• Travel to respond to accidents/incidents as directed.
• Assist stations to complete inspections and audits.
• Verify reports are completed as required by government agencies.
• Lead safety/security meetings with managers and operations.
• Create incident reports for regional status to aid improvements.
• Perform independent station audits focusing on safety, security, and quality policies.
• Ensure Site-Specific Security and Safety Plans are up to date and compliant.
