Worldwide Flight Services seeks a Safety - Training Manager with extensive aviation and ramp safety experience to lead safety, security, and training programs across warehouse and ramp operations. You will ensure compliance with corporate policies, airline and regulatory requirements, and optimize safety performance while maintaining operational efficiency.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5 years in aviation/warehouse operations and ramp safety, plus experience in loss

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of operations experience in aviation and warehouse.
• 5 years of ramp safety experience.
• 5 years of experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, or related field.
• 3 years of disability management or workers’ compensation experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, and injury-management/ergonomics best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information.
• Strategic, proactive, hands-on leadership.
• Data-driven mindset with SMS experience.
• Crisis management and emergency response planning.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety excellence through innovative training and engagement initiatives.
• Ensure safety protocols align with corporate, airline, customer, and regulatory requirements (FAA, TSA, OSHA).
• Lead investigations of safety incidents to identify root causes and corrective measures.
• Guide station managers and supervisors on safety best practices and incident prevention.
• Oversee training schedules to align with operations and ensure timely recurrent training.
• Manage training resources, facilities, and instructional personnel.
• Be the primary contact for on-duty injury follow-ups and coordinate medical updates and accommodations.
• Conduct routine physical security audits and lead confidential investigations.
• Deliver monthly safety meetings to maintain culture and identify hazards.
• Drive strategic projects for injury prevention and risk reduction.
• Influence behavior and foster a safety-first mindset at all levels.
• Respond to safety/security events outside regular hours when needed.
