Job summary

The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is seeking an experienced Automotive Office Manager to lead the dealership Business Office and accounting teams, overseeing daily operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

This full-time role requires proven dealership accounting leadership and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with opportunities for career growth within a regional automotive leader.

Qualifications

• Automotive office manager experience required; leadership skills.
• Strong bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting abilities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent accounting/administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the dealership Business Office/accounting team
• Oversee daily accounting and administrative operations
• Ensure accuracy of financial schedules and reconciliations
• Review general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, and payables
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes; analyze income, expenses, and variances
• Maintain internal controls and compliance standards
• Ensure timely and accurate dealership financial reporting
• Partner with dealership management and department leaders
• Support payroll and commission processes with HR
• Train and develop Business Office staff
