Job summary

PillPack, LLC is seeking a Regional Automation Engineer to manage high-level control systems across a region of Amazon sites in the United States. You will engage in commissioning, on-call support, continuous improvement, and change management, using data analytics and best practices to ensure reliability and efficiency.

You will travel up to 80% to support sites within the region and work with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Codesys PLCs, robotics work cells, and motor control systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or equivalent, or 4+ years of PLC programming/automation experience.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 4+ years in PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in process/production environments.
• 4+ years of ladder logic/structuring programming for Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Codesys.
• 4+ years of robotics work cells and control systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot material handling control systems (PLC/PC controllers, networks, motor control systems).
• Apply SME knowledge to investigate root causes and mitigate downtime of critical assets.
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate on projects with other Amazon teams.
